In the last past years, we have all witnessed an increase in tourism. The tourism industry is one of the
fastest-growing sectors, and therefore it has a significant impact on natural resources, consumption patterns, pollution, and socio-economic systems.
We want to take the personalised travel experience to a new level. We want to make travellers slow down, escape the well-known tourist spots and the crowds, and explore those corners of our country that preserve rural and centuries-old traditions passed down from one generation to another. Our philosophy is to show all the treasures of authentic Italy to travellers while being responsible.
How we do it
We find accommodations engaged in sustainability, like those scattered hotels that preserve the historical centres of medieval citadels or those that keep an eye on environmental commitments to energy usage and seasonable organic food.
We seek to enrich the travel experience through human connection, choosing experiences that involve small local communities. It could be about being a shepherd for a day, preparing cheese following a traditional recipe or meeting locals and learning first-hand about their daily lives.
We promote lesser-known destinations around the country and support small family-run, locallybased activities, helping economic business development. Having lunch in a small restaurant or finding a souvenir from a tiny artisan shop all contribute to make a positive impact.
